Dr. Ronald J. Zokol

Dr. Ronald J. Zokol is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral Implantology. His other accomplishments reflect hundreds of lecture events and seminars throughout the world on the subject of Implant Dentistry and the education of dentists in this field. Dr. Zokol is frequently called upon by leading dental manufacturers to test and evaluate new technology in the field of implants, and he founded and operates the Pacific Implant Institute which professionally trains implant dentists worldwide.
Early in his career Dr. Zokol was called to ‘stand ready’ to treat Queen Elizabeth II during her tour of British Columbia, and in subsequent years has also done so for other members of the Royal Family. He has held dozens of positions in the dental field including Chief Examiner for the College of Dental Surgeons. Dr. Zokol has been and is a pioneer in his chosen field, and divides his time between oral implantology surgery in private practice and mentoring other dentists who wish to follow in his footsteps.

Implant Dentistry is both my passion and my sole activity. Our practice is devoted 100% to the science of Oral Implantology – one of only a handful in North America. We utilize everything science and technology has to offer to literally build teeth where many thought it impossible, and to return function, appearance, good oral health, and confidence to the lives of our patients. Our restoration may be a single tooth implant or an entire jaw for an individual who may have been without any teeth for decades! There is no age limit in our practice – and patients in their 80’s and even 90’s are not uncommon. Implant teeth are now simply the Standard of Care to rehabilitate many mouths. At some point, patients simply decide that they wish to live the rest of their lives with their own teeth back. Our science is absolutely the most predictable in all of dentistry. Success rates in our practice exceed 98% over a ten year term, which is without parallel anywhere in the dental field.

The most common sentiment expressed by our patients is that they wish they had implants placed years earlier and also that the quality of life they regained was beyond their wildest expectation! My mission is to solve dental problems and optimize our patients’ oral health.
